What is MOPS?
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is an international ministry dedicated to the message that “mothering matters” and that moms need encouragement during these critical and formative years. Our MOPS group is open to moms throughout the community, whether or not they attend church at Valley Presbyterian.
During the school year we meet twice a month on Fridays from 9-11AM. September 6 & 20, October 4 & 18, November 1 & 15, December 6, January 10 & 24, February 7 & 21, March 6 & 20, April 3 & 17, and May 1
Where do my kids go while I'm in MOPS?
We offer childcare for children (up to age 5) on a space-available basis. During the meetings, your little Moppet will enjoy the classrooms and playground of Valley Day School which is on our campus. All caregivers have been fingerprinted and have had background checks. Email the names and ages of your children who will need childcare to Brianne to reserve childcare in advance of the meeting.
Do I need to register?
All moms considering MOPS membership are welcome to attend a complimentary meeting before registering for the year. Annual membership is required by MOPS International as part of our charter agreement. Membership is $95 for the 2019-20 year and includes meetings, annual dues to MOPS International, childcare, refreshments, activities and speaker honorariums.
