VPC's Music Ministry is dedicated to glorifying and serving God through different expressions of music. If you have a love for music and creativity, join us! You will be embraced by a Christian community of fellow music lovers.

Valley Presbyterian Church loves music. From soaring vocals in the Chapel to the Sanctuary pipe organ's resonance to melodic driving acoustic guitar in the Landes Center, music is one of the primary ways we worship and glorify God. As the Fall begins, do you have a song in your heart that you long to share? Being a part of the Chancel Choir has been a blessing to Tiffany Pondelik, who grew up at VPC and has been singing all her life.

Chancel Choir

Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 7:30-9PM, Choir Room
Sing most Sundays at the 9AM Worship Service

The Chancel Choir is a traditional four-part choir that ministers to the congregation through music. We sing everything from classical to 20th century. The choir also performs two concerts per year with a full orchestra. The Chancel Choir is open to high school students and adults at all skill levels. If you love to sing and have a heart for worshiping through song, this welcoming community is the place for you! Contact Jennifer Hamm for more information.

Valley Ringers

Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 5:30- 6:30PM, Handbell Room
Plays at various times at the 9AM Worship Service

Handbells were created in England and are a miniature version of church tower bells. A handbell ensemble is an instrument that takes 10-13 people to play. We are seeking new members (beginning at Jr. High age) at all skill levels, however, ability to read music is a plus. Our youngest member is 13 and our oldest is 91. We are willing to teach if you are willing to learn. Consider joining this fun group to make a unique and joyful noise to the Lord! Contact Julia Tucker for more information.

    VPC 2018 Concert Series

    Sunday, February 25
    4PM, Chapel & Sanctuary, Free

VPC has two amazing instruments, the Chapel’s Rosales and Sanctuary’s Reuter organ. These instruments each have a distinct character, so I have decided to feature both of them in my recital! The first half of the program will be in the Chapel, the second half in the Sanctuary. -Julia Tucker, VPC Assistant Minister of Music.

    Gloria by Vivaldi
Presented by VPC’s Chancel Choir and Orchestra
    Sponsored by VPC Foundation
    Sunday, April 8, 4PM, Sanctuary

Written in 1715, the wonderfully sunny nature of the Gloria is characteristic of all of Vivaldi’s music, giving it an immediate and universal appeal. We are delighted to be joined by members of the Phoenix Symphony. This concert is sponsored by the Valley Presbyterian Foundation.
