DAY 30 | JOHN MARK: ADVENTURE
John Mark, or simply Mark, was recruited by Paul to help with
the new venture to reach out beyond Jewish boundaries into the
Gentile world. It took courage to even consider going on such a
trip, because there were no blueprints whatsoever. No one had
ever gone on a missionary journey before. Judaism didn't seek
converts or train missionaries. It grew, very slowly, by having
babies. The Jewish and Gentile worlds were separated by a
cultural and religious gulf.
Every question ends up in the air. Where do we begin? How do
we proceed? What do we pack?
