forces of Emperor Napolean III that were seeking to impose a European monarchy on the fiercely independent Mexican nation. Fate brought the two dates of these celebrations side by side, so who are we to question their mutual celebration? Bring Mexican-themed appetizers, side dishes, and desserts.
