Stress Test Devotional April 27

MARK 8:24 | And the man looked up and said, “I can see people, but they look like trees, walking.”
This is the only two stage healing in the gospels. Asked by Jesus about his vision, the not so blind man says, “I see people, like trees, walking.” This response indicates that at some point this man has been sighted, and hence can identify people and trees. It also shows that the initial cure is partial.
Some problems are not solved in one clear moment. They get partially addressed, worked on, prayed about, then resolved. Some answers come in dribs and drabs, rather than with the clarion call of a final revelation.
