A New Heart for the Valley Week 6, Day 7

by David Joynt on March 31, 2018

LUKE 23:50-56

The Jewish Sabbath, which followed Jesus’ suffering and death, is called by Christians Holy Saturday. It was a day of deep silence, when words could not express the reality of the loss, the end of the dream, the depth of the sorrow. It was a moment when the disciples felt as if death and darkness and evil would have a final victory over life and light and goodness.

Have you ever experienced these powers of death, darkness, and evil?

Have you ever known a silence too deep and too painful for words?

FAMILY TIME

Pray for everyone who faces an enemy they cannot overcome, an injustice they cannot resist, or an outcome they cannot reverse.
