Every one of us has features of our life we cannot control. Sometimes there are stubborn health issues that cannot be fixed by diet, exercise, or medical treatment. Sometimes there are economic limitations. And everyone, without exception, has family, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances with habits or personality traits that can aggravate us.
In addition, we all have soft spots, points of emotional vulnerability and therefore issues where we are instantly sensitive. Agape love is strong enough to deal with difficult or unpleasant things without becoming angry or aggressive. It has serenity, or a certain immunity from outside influence.
Use this prayer as a way to examine your life.
