Broken and the Blessed, Lent Day 31

DAY 31
In my experience, many Christians have trouble trusting God with their past errors. They believe forgiveness is real but don’t take the next step of faith. They do not ask God to use their dead end moments to teach, train, and prepare them for new opportunities. Saul could not have been the Apostle Paul, unless he had first been an enemy of God. His concern for the Gentiles, his Torah steeped grasp of the Gospel, his pastoral capacity—all of it is unimaginable apart from his mistakes.
God is always preparing us for something. Do you agree?
