“Scrooged”
The rich man has a radical change in outlook after his death. The
punishment he endures immediately turns him in a caring
direction, and he wants to warn his family that judgment is real
and that a self-centered life will bring future suffering and regret.
This reminds us that life will look different from the end. We
need to move backwards from that moment to the present, with
the goal of pleasing God so that, when our earthly lives conclude,
we will hear "well done good and faithful servant!"
