Fatihful, Faith Dreams, Day 30

MATTHEW 13:31-32 | He put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

Mustard seed faith operates in a Kingdom like a mustard seed! There is a vision expanding encouragement in this image of faith, in fact a tiny gospel in it. Our faith need not be perfect or enormous or ironclad to access God’s power and invoke his Kingdom. Small, incomplete, imperfect faith can work miracles, because God in his grace has chosen to save sinners and employ them for great purposes!

It is the Kingdom of God that has the inner dynamism to begin as a tiny seed with small initiatives and small people in small places and then to become a huge tree, a mighty sequoia.
