Leading With a Committed Heart: Day 1

PSALM 111:1-10

Nothing of worth or weight can be achieved with half a mind, with a faint heart, and with a lame endeavor.”  ~ Isaac Burrow

There are all kinds of things we wish we hadn’t done. Words we wish we could take back, deeds we’d like to undo. Thank goodness God forgives our sins and mistakes! But even more powerful are the things we wish we had done. The investments we should have made, the relationships we should have nurtured, the causes we should have fought for.

It is the things we commit to that give our lives their shape and meaning. It is crucial to choose our commitments with care.

What are you committed to with your whole heart?

How can others tell?

Make the first verse of this Psalm your theme for today.
