Church Challenge: Wider Witness
Yesterday, I asked families to turn off their circuit breakers to demonstrate the way we need God’s power in order to shine. What breaks the circuit for you? What blocks your work and witness, limiting the power you receive?
Sometimes we forget about God and live as if we were not meant to be His witness. Sometimes we hesitate to shine because of anxiety about how others will respond. Sometimes we are troubled, or insecure, or embarrassed. There are many reasons for silence. But none of them, ultimately, are good ones!

Why do you feel this way? Remember, God goes before you and stands with you, in every situation and relationship.
Family Focus: Read our scripture passage and discuss what in life you find embarrassing and what makes you afraid. Pray that God helps you to have courage and joy as witnesses.
