LUKE 24:33-35 | 33 That same hour they got up and returned to Jerusalem, and they found the eleven and their companions gathered together. 34 They were saying, “The Lord has risen indeed, and he has appeared to Simon!” 35 Then they told what had happened on the road and how he had been made known to them in the breaking of the bread.
MATTHEW 18:20 | 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.
When Cleopas and his friend return to the other disciples in Jerusalem, they share “Jesus sightings.” What a moment. Skepticism and confusion give way to supreme excitement and anticipation. When and where will we next meet Him!?
We can encounter Jesus when we connect with other followers, in our friendships, and our meetings. He is present via His Spirit in each of us. This makes our fellowship moments exciting, particularly when we share our experiences of Him with each other. Each of us can be a source of inspiration and direction for one another.
