The Originals, Week 2, Day 6

by David Joynt on January 19, 2018

ACTS 15:39-40

By inviting John Mark on a second missionary journey, Barnabas
gave him permission to start over. It was impossible to know the
odds of his succeeding in the new assignment, but it was certain that
his previous failure would be a permanent blow without a second
chance.

There is a vital ministry to people in their "nadir moments*."
There are crucial times in every life when things bottom out and
we face the sting of rebuke and the pain of failure. Having
someone at that point that still believes in us and trusts us is
paramount.

Have you ever helped someone in a "nadir moment"?

What difference did it make?

*nadir—lowest point in an arc or in life
