Families are a God invention. What a blessing to have a place
you are known and treasured, valued, and encouraged. When
families work well, they are launching pads into life. But the
most important function of a family is to help its members
connect with God's family. It is through God's family that we
find our eternal purpose and final destiny.
The current family paradigm stresses that keeping kids busy will
forestall trouble, but often busyness leads to eliminating or down-
grading connections to church. Good things become the enemy
of the best thing.
