Tina Gilbreath, her husband Todd, raised their four children Wil, Annie, Adam & Charlie here at Valley Presbyterian Church and have been members here since 2005. Originally from Tucson, Tina is a Wildcat through and through, receiving her BS in 1988 and BA in 1997 at the University of Arizona, where she also received a Master’s Degree in Education in 1995. Before staying at home with her kids, she taught middle school and led teacher training and staff development at both the district and university levels. She is currently enrolled at Flourish Institute of Theology working on her Masters in Theology.
She felt God calling her into ministry at VPC in 2007, and since then has enjoyed working with the children, families, and volunteers at VPC to create dynamic Family Ministry and more recently Women's Ministry programs and events. She has a passion for helping others grow in their faith, especially helping families nurture the faith of their children.
