This class examines the Book of Psalms within its original Old Testament context. We will see how the Psalms emerged from Israel’s communal worship, royal traditions, lament practices, and
wisdom teaching, to how these ancient texts shaped Jewish faith long before their adoption into Christian devotion. Bill is Executive in Residence at Grand Canyon University.
