April for VPC kids!

There is a lot happening in April!

Fifth graders and parents, YOU are invited!

Fifth graders are invited to participate in a special series of classes culminating in the Transition Banquet, to mark and celebrate their moving into student ministry. Fifth grade classes are April 7, 14, and 21 at 9am, and the banquet is April 21st at 4:30pm. Parents are invited to attend a special workshop during the first class on the seventh. You won't want to miss this special milestone celebration! Contact Tina if you have questions.

It's time to sign up for Vacation Bible School!

Don't miss out on the fun, space is limited.  Kids will dive deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At SCUBA VBS, kids will be immersed in the word and discover what living water is really all about. Sign up today.

OasisKids! wraps up!

OasisKids! K-5th grade will host a concert on April 17th and this will be our fifth graders last Wednesday with OasisKids! before they move on to Youth Group. Our final OasisKids! for all other students will be April 24! 

Sunday School resumes April 7!

Join us as Sunday School resumes our regular schedule during 9 and 10:30 worship on April 7. Kids join us each week as we dig into the Epic Teachings of the Bible at Sunday School during 9 or 10:30AM service following the children's message! Check-in with our staff in the foyer of the Sanctuary to learn more about Sunday School and our other programs!

Tina Gilbreath

Tina Gilbreath, her husband Todd, and her 4 children Wil, Annie, Adam & Charlie have been members at Valley Presbyterian church since 2005.  Originally from Tucson, she is a Wildcat through and through and received her BS in 1988 and BA in 1997 at the University of Arizona. She also received her master’s degree in education in 1995. Before staying at home with her kids she taught middle school and led teacher training and staff development at both the district and university levels.

She felt God calling her into ministry at VPC in 2007, and since then has enjoyed working with the children, families, and volunteers at VPC to create dynamic children’s ministry programs and events. As Director of Family Ministries, she relishes helping families nurture the faith of their children, a passion for her. When not having fun hiking, traveling, or hanging out with her family she enjoys reading, painting, and crafting.
