June 24-28, 2024, 8:30-12, kids 3 years old through 5th grades will get to dive deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At SCUBA VBS, kids will be immersed in the word and discover what living water is really all about. Sign up today! Space is limited.

NEW! Extended day option for VBS for 1st-5th grade kids!

We are thrilled to be offering an extended day musical camp option for children who will be in 1st-5th grade fall of 2024, and even more excited that it is a musical led by our own Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Kay. Monday, June 24 through Thursday, June 27, from 12-3:30PM. Final performance is Thursday, June 27 at 6:30PM. Note: There are extra dates/times for 3rd-5th graders. Space is limited and the musical camp will only take place if our minimum number of participants register, so don't delay! Sign up by May 10. Sign up option included in VBS registration!

Also NEW this summer--Introducing Café Kids time!

Join us for a parent child activity in the café on the third Thursday of each month this summer! Each time a member of our Children's and Family Ministry staff will share a story or lead a craft for kids under five. Make a quick stop before your start your day, or make an outing of it and spend some time on the plaza or in the café! Café Kids time will be May 16, June 20, July 18, and August 19. OasisKids! wraps up!

OasisKids! K-5th grade has our final meeting Wednesday May 1!  We will be back this fall, with the kickoff carnival September 4.  Watch for more information at the end of summer.

Sunday School continues through May 19!

Join us through May 19 for Sunday School during 9 and 10:30 worship. Kids join us each week as we dig into the Epic Teachings of the Bible at Sunday School following the children's message! Check-in with our staff in the foyer of the Sanctuary to learn more about Sunday School and our other programs! Summer Sunday School begins June 2 for children 3 years old through entering 1st grade, older children will get to enjoy family worship!

Family Worship on May 26

Enjoy Family Worship with your older children on May 26, nursery care will be available for children under 3 years old. We will have worship packets available and as always feel free to bring your own bag of quiet activities. Learn more about Family Worship here and check out additional tips here.

Tina Gilbreath, her husband Todd, and her 4 children Wil, Annie, Adam & Charlie have been members at Valley Presbyterian church since 2005.  Originally from Tucson, she is a Wildcat through and through and received her BS in 1988 and BA in 1997 at the University of Arizona. She also received her master’s degree in education in 1995. Before staying at home with her kids she taught middle school and led teacher training and staff development at both the district and university levels.

She felt God calling her into ministry at VPC in 2007, and since then has enjoyed working with the children, families, and volunteers at VPC to create dynamic children’s ministry programs and events. As Director of Family Ministries, she relishes helping families nurture the faith of their children, a passion for her. When not having fun hiking, traveling, or hanging out with her family she enjoys reading, painting, and crafting.
