Everyday Saints Devotional 31

LUKE 22:41 | 41 Then he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, knelt down, and prayed,
In the Garden of Gethsemene, Jesus bowed down to pray. When we are in great agony of Spirit this is a profound practice.
Jesus faced unjust condemnation, torture, public humiliation and death. All of it was undeserved. He also knew that his suffering was sacrificial, that he would be bearing the weight of others’ sin and soul sickness. In the garden he prayed that this bitter cup would be removed, but as he spoke he knelt as a sign of submission. Even before he said “not my will but yours” his body language said need and acquiescence.
Have you ever prayed under great pressure?
