Here and Now devo Nov 26

by David Joynt on November 26, 2022

MATTHEW 25:34-36 | 34 Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world, 35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’

What we give and invest here at VPC also helps our three mission partners in Malawi. Ministry of Hope provides emergency food and help to 5,000 orphans in Lilongwe. Villages in Partnership, led by Liz Heinzel-Nelson, is developing the Sekata area near Blantyre, in partnership with 25,000 villagers. Water provision, food security, schools and education, economic empowerment and medical care are the focus. VPC Mission’s Pastor Chris Woodard is on their board and our church has been a main sponsor of a new high school. Urban    Promise International, led by Bruce Main, trains young kingdom    entrepreneurs to start ministries to children and youth in six African countries, Latin America, and in eight cities in North America. There are currently 10 ongoing programs serving different groups in
Malawi.

Pray for all our mission partners in Malawi.
