Invitation, Week 7, Day 48

LUKE 10:7-8 | Remain in the same house, eating and drinking whatever they provide, for the laborer deserves to be paid. Do not move about from house to house. Whenever you enter a town and its people welcome you, eat what is set before you.
The gospel is about relationships. As Jesus’ emissaries we must adjust to the people we encounter. Their food habits may differ from ours, but he encourages us to favor connection over scrupulosity, giving disciples a let-off from food laws. Accepting others’ hospitality, receiving blessings from them with openness and grace, is part of ministry. It establishes bonds that allow others to receive from us.
Jesus wants his followers to seek and build relationships in the context of mission.
How do you build relationships?
