Invitation, Week 8, Day 50

JOHN 3:1-2 | Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews. He came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do apart from the presence of God.”
Nicodemus was a true, although cautious, seeker. He was a true seeker because he sought an encounter with Jesus., and showed a genuine interest that he might be sent from the God, since “no one could do the signs he’d done without God’s aid.” Nicodemus was also honest in his dialogue with Jesus, not pretending to understand what he wasn’t following—”How can anyone be born twice?” Finally Nicodemus did not accept the universal disdain his fellow leaders had for Jesus, he wanted to form an independent opinion.
Do you know any sincere seekers?
How can you tell?
