Lead Like Moses Devotional 54
by David Joynt on August 04, 2022
DEUTERONOMY 6:2 | 2So that you and your children and your children’s children may fear the Lord your God all the days of your life and keep all his decrees and his commandments that I am commanding you, so that your days may be long.
Chain-link living sees life as including generational responsibilities. Good leaders mentor the next generation—they look downward toward children and youth and forward toward the future. They look upward at older generations and backward toward traditions and previous revelations. They look sideways at the examples of their peers and around at their own generation. They know their lives are embedded in a chain of life and they must be links between older and younger generations.
Do you live in a consciously intergenerational way?
How does our society tend to set generations apart and isolate them?
