Lead Like Moses Devotional 6

EXODUS 2:14b-15a | 14bThen Moses was afraid and thought, “Surely the thing is known.” 15a When Pharaoh heard of it, he sought to kill Moses.
Moses learned the lesson of the pivot point in our scripture. Much of life is repetitive or meandering, like a run around the track or a walk in the woods. But sometimes there is a fateful fork, a moment that alters every other moment to come.
Moses’ defense of the Hebrew slave was such a moment. He went from insider to outsider, from privilege to poverty, from connected to most wanted, from prince to felon. His life altered radically and there was no going back. In one action, he had chosen a side, picked a course, and gone public with his true passions.
Have you gone public with your passions? Your faith?
When have you had to meet a momentous moment?
