Leading With an Ordered Heart: Day 4
How big is your view of Jesus? Do you long for others to see and understand the key to all that is good and gracious?

Jesus’ suggestion that the success of human life depends on Him rests on a particular vision of His identity. The N.T. does not present Him simply as a great religious teacher, circumscribed by the Jewish traditions which He embraced and fulfilled, but as the Word made flesh, the Divine Visitor. Life originated with Him and He embodies, in a direct way, divine intention and character, as well as human possibility. As sustainer and ultimately Judge, he brings order to history itself, and to the individual lives that contribute to it.
This is known in scripture through special revelation. Through common grace it can be sensed by the faithful in all areas of life. Where there is love or generosity or discovery or fidelity or courage or understanding—He is near and can be seen by those with eyes to see.
