Praising Together for Tomorrow: Day 2
How do you prepare for worship? How do you link worship to your week?
by David Joynt on October 31, 2016
PSALM 46:1-3, 10-11
Worship has to be authentic, as we learned yesterday, because in worship we are reoriented, and re-centered, on God and His Kingdom. Without worship, our awareness of God dims, and the little tyrant god we call “self” takes over our thoughts and decisions. We place ourselves at the center of the universe and forget our need, our mortality, our calling. In worship, we see and hear and sense our holy purpose, our deep identity, our faithful future.

Family Focus - Ask your children if they have any questions about worship. Encourage them to pick a time to talk to God other than mealtime or bedtime.
