1 CORINTHIANS 12:12-13 | 12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
Discover! Develop! Deploy. The beautiful voice that remains silent. The passionate heart that never speaks. The wise counsel not offered. The compassion not expressed. The help not given. The suggestion not made. All these situations are tragic because a gift unused and undeployed has no impact.
There is no more important decision we make than where and how and with whom we will deploy our gifts. The setting and the companions augment or diminish our efforts and the joy we experience in our work. Choosing a church is crucial not just for what we receive, but for the opportunities we have to give and grow and use our gifts. Nothing compares to being part of a community which together builds the kingdom.
