Thank God it's Monday Devo 60 Nov 3

MATTHEW 7:28 | 28 Now when Jesus had finished saying these words, the crowds were astounded at his teaching.

The bible is full of the creativity of sublime composition. It is the best-selling book of all time because of its power to convey unique and revelatory truth about God. But it is also best-selling because of the beauty and creativity of the way this truth is communicated. Does any literary passage portray futility better than Ecclesiastes? Is there poetry superior to the Psalms in their expression of joy and lament, faith and praise? Can anyone match the stories and parables of Jesus, that speak to children and mystify scholars?

There is an artistry and creativity that words can bring which is a source of immense inspiration.

Which psalm is most beautiful to you?

Which story or parable of Jesus is most astounding?
