The Upside Down World, Week 4, Day 5
by David Joynt on October 05, 2017
What if the forgiven debtor had responded differently? To truly understand an action, it is important to imagine the impact of other possible responses. Imagine if the debtor, released from his unpayable debt, had joyfully forgiven the small debt owed to him. What if the chain of grace had not been broken? The one owing him would be released and given an opportunity to release others himself. Forgiveness alters the way others feel about themselves and the world.
Read the scripture. How did things change for these two brothers when Esau forgave Jacob?
Have you ever been Esau to a Jacob?
