Under Construction, Week 3, Day 19

JOSHUA 6:20 | So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpets, they raised a great shout, and the wall fell down flat; so the people charged straight ahead into the city and captured it.
The walls of Jericho fall, but they don’t do so under artillery fire. They don’t collapse from human assault. The people of the Lord shout out in praise, following the music of the trumpets. The mortar crumbles, the timbers crack, the stones shake and parapets tumble—at the sound of faith and obedience given voice.
Some barriers can’t be knocked over by physical means. Some walls will not fall to the weapons of war. Some problems are solved through worship and praise! Praise opens channels in the heart, it put the mind into proper alignment, and it fine-tunes the soul.
We studied the Psalms in the summer. Find a Psalm and use it to praise God.
Do you have any walls in your life that need to come tumbling down?
