Under Construction, Week 7, Day 48

PHILIPPIANS 3:3-7 | For it is we who are the circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and boast in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh even though I, too, have reason for confidence in the flesh. If anyone else has reason to be confident in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, a member of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew born of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to righteousness under the law, blameless. Yet whatever gains I had, these I have come to regard as loss because of Christ.
We all depend on the miraculous power of God, the resurrection, restoration power, which he alone has the power to remove all stain of sin and death and make us finally and fully new. But between then and now, it helps us become more capable if we have “partners in the gospel.”
Do you have people who “held you in their heart” as Paul did? People who share in the “defense and confirmation” of the gospel? It is a huge help to be surrounded by others who know our incompleteness but will encourage and bless us in our lives and our ministry.
Do you have partners “in the gospel”?
If so, thank God for them.
If not, pray for them.
