World Changing Words Devotional-Day 2

ISAIAH 6:2-3 | 2 Seraphs were in attendance above him; each had six wings: with two they covered their faces, and with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. 3 And one called to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory."
A theophany discloses. It shows someone a different order of being. It opens a window into another level of reality. Isaiah is given a look into heaven, he experiences the presence of God more immediately, and he sees a company of creatures, the Seraphim, attending to God and worshiping Him. Their cry, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts, the whole earth is filled with His glory,” introduces two key words. Holy means set apart, different, extra-ordinary. And glory refers to a shining light-filled magnificence, a beautiful radiance of immanent power. Imagine if a fish or a frog encountered a human being and could think about the moment. Now multiply that astounding recognition of fundamental difference a million times and apply it to Isaiah’s encounter. Theophanies reveal that God is other—unlike us in nature and power and authority.
Do you ever glorify God, by expressing awe and wonder to Him for who He is?
Find a Psalm and use it for “glorification” purposes.
