A Manger Seen, Week 1, Day 5

LUKE 2:13-14 | And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!”

God communicates in so many ways with us. He gives us a sudden thought which comes as a silent, secret gift. He speaks in the words of a friend or family member. He convicts us of a new truth or a needed direction as we read the Scriptures. He calls to us in the circumstances and experiences of our lives, opening and closing doors. He grants us a holy dream.

The shepherds were given a pyrotechnic moment! A dazzling display of light and glory eclipsing the bright stars in the middle eastern sky. They got to hear some of the sounds of heaven’s worship, a divine chorale.

How does God speak to you?
Have you ever had an epiphany?
