REUTER OPUS 1554

The three-manual 43 rank Reuter Opus 1554 was installed at Valley Presbyterian Church in 1967. In 2020, P.J. Swartz completed a restoration and renovation of the instrument. The renovation included a new great principal chorus and the addition of an 8’ Trumpet and an 8’ Harmonic Flute. This greatly expanded the amount of repertoire that can be played on the instrument, as well as enhanced its ability to lead congregational singing. The new moveable console also provided greater flexibility for accompanying our choirs and for use with other ensembles at our concerts.
