Fellowship

⁴² They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. ⁴³ Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. Acts 2:42-43

God has created us as relational people. The aspect of our created being is both vertical with God and horizontal with others. The biblical idea of fellowship, ‘koinonia’ is much deeper than friendship; it is a way of life that is rooted in a real relationship with God in Jesus and lived out in relationship with others. Our relationships with each other grow from the place of our intimacy with God. We see and know others because God sees and knows us. Currently in our culture it appears we are trending towards personal isolation. The church functions to draw you into deep and real community and only works when we are together. Open yourself up and engage in the koinonia of the church. Life Happens Here.
