Your Summer Reading List June 12, 2026 Devotional

I have a vivid memory of speaking at a youth summit in Malawi with our partners, Ministry of Hope. It was incredible to watch as hundreds and hundreds of teenagers would materialize out of the bush and gather at the center for a day of learning about God. We ended the event with communion, and I shared that all who call upon the name of Jesus as Lord are invited to the meal. I asked the crowd if anyone wanted to call upon the name of Jesus as Lord for the first time. In awe, I saw dozens and dozens of hands go up—the Spirit was moving. I prayed from the front and I had friends gather around the new Christians to pray and then we celebrated communion. It was an experience I will never forget. After communion we had a party and what a party it was. I couldn’t help but think, this is what Jesus was talking about when He said, “there will be rejoicing in heaven.”
