Life Happens Here May 30, 2026 Devotional

The Awe

⁴⁶ Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, ⁴⁷ praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:46-47

There are thin moments for the disciple of Jesus. Those moments we experience in life where heaven and earth seem to collide. Where the hope of God for this world is lived out, testified to,       experienced, and shared. Those moments stoke in the disciple a sense of awe, wonder, and a little fear. Where the believer catches a glimpse of what they believe. These thin moments transpired in the early church. People outside of the church were watching and were compelled by what they saw to jump in as well. I have the privilege of watching you, the church, bring about these thin moments here and now. Coming alongside people in their need, worshipping God with whole heart, learning from the scripture, and living lives forever changed. Life Happens Here.
